Remember that the 20 miles increment is measured in EPA cycle. We don't know yet if it is combined. If that is the case, increments may be 15 miles city and 25 miles highway cycle, averaging to 20 miles. BUT if places you go include lots of highway driving, perhaps even faster than EPA cycle, your mileage will increase by far more than 7% versus the standard wheel. It's awfully rare I'd need to stretch out those extra 20 miles, so I'll say no. If they were something you could attach when needed somehow, then maybe.
Hah. That is how I started off my question to Franz:I just assumed the were Moon...
I don't think they look that bad. Just a bit too unconventional for prime time.
You're worried about 'too unconventional'? Where is vfx? Bring him back!
Oh, if only I did not have to make a living. Or was a musician.
So if just changing the wheels increases the miles from 300 to 320 how does the EPA register this? As we know they just run the cars on a dyno.
...Manufacturers test their own vehicles—usually pre-production prototypes—and report the results to EPA. EPA reviews the results and confirms about 10-15 percent of them through their own tests at the National Vehicles and Fuel Emissions Laboratory...
Those look great....What about something like this?

Or just make them go over the 21" Lorinster wheels.
