2.5 Firmware Update

When I was ordering my new ESS "plug" Tesla looked at my log files and said I needed a firmware update. I quickly checked logs I had pulled a few months ago and noticed that the firmware I had was 4.6.8 40. I assumed this was the latest?

08/31/2014 10:53:05, 4.6.5 40

02/27/2015 15:56:32, 4.6.8 40

I emailed Tesla an extract from my logs showing the above and they said that I do not have the latest version and when my car is up and running to bring it to the SC...
Certainly news to me...anybody else aware of this?

OK great - do you know what the differences are?

One thing I know the update does is lower the cruise control threshold to 25 mph. Maybe someone else is aware of additional differences...

Nope . I have attached the release notes from 2012. I am eager to see if anybody has a changelog for the newer releases...

It lowered my cruise control threshold to 18 mph.
