So Canadian Plaid order just changed to August as well. Here’s what’s bothering me. If I try to order a Plaid right now, the estimated delivery frame is October ‘22. That’s a difference of 2 months from my current EDD - and I’ve been waiting since March 2021. What is really going on here??

Is anyone nervous about taking delivery now when the 4680 batteries seem imminent? My Plaid delivery is slated for March but I can’t help but wonder whether waiting a couple more months might be worthwhile.

Yesterday I got the call for the free upgrade to 6 seats however today I had an “updated” loan offer appear. Looks like they ran another credit check. I had an expired offer that I wasn’t going to renew until I had a firm date. My EDD is March. So strange that Tesla would do this proactively.

According to the guy I spoke with that gave the upgrade to the 6 seater, the Plaid will not be produced in a 5 seater version.

I know exactly how you feel! Not sure who your delivery specialist is but if it happens to be Jason, you're in super good hands.

They give you the option at the SC but I opted to not have any holes drilled into the beautiful cone. They do make you sign a waiver so you can't hold them liable but apparently very few opt for it - at least in Ontario. I believe the ticket is around $100 if I get pulled over.
