I think the microfiber is also a nice and practical choice. Don't get as hot in the sun or cold in the winter. Also keeps you from sliding around too much in the twisties.

Has anyone seriously considered traditional two tone?

It looks like the Tesla Motors website has some of the cars that have rolled through for the first 120+.

Here is the Radiant Red section, including the exact combo that I am considering.

Sadly, those of us who are not owners cannot follow that link.
Could you repost here?

There are a ton of real car pics. Probably two or three different interior color combos for every exterior color. Too many pictures to copy them all.

The way they have the pictures posted, it is not a quick copy paste. It is a screen shot process with a lot of cropping. I will do a few and post them.

I created a gallery on my website of the various Radiant Red Tesla Roadsters color combos that have been delivered to real customers.

Tesla Roadster Peak Oil Garage

As I expected, the light grey and saddle don't seem to work with Radiant Red.
I really like the Black and Red, with the headrest in the black color. In fact, this one might be my exact choice with the Rally 1 side color.

That does look good... I wonder what the reverse would look like? (red exterior and red base interior with black highlights).

Electric Blue looks great with the Saddle color.

I prefer the Black and Saddle combo.

I think the light gray looks terrible with the red.

I'm with Doug. Too bad there are not the color options in microfiber.

No arguments here. This person was color blind when they made this decision.

Yup. I did traditional two-tone black/saddle (hey, I like it ;-) with the headrest in saddle. I'll note that the pictures on the owner's website have an off white-balance and is over-exposed, and the saddle is a bit darker than what it looks like in the photos.

Last edited by SByer; 12-24-2008 at 12:17 PM.. Reason: Added over-exposed.
