While the substantial part of a "Tesla rival" would lie with the battery, range and performance, Audi is surely delighted to have an autopilot showing like this prior to any substantial demonstration from Tesla.
I note they are happy to point out "twenty sensors and cameras" and we all know there are about 15 on the Model S & X. Will this turn into a "number of sensors war" like megapixels on digital cameras? (the number of sensors itself not necessarily indicating the effectiveness of the autopilot)
