Spurious seat heater activation

Since 5.9 (or maybe since the hack/patch to fix the Nav issue) I've noticed that the seat heaters will spuriously come on for a bit every once in a while. There is no indication on the center display, rather the condition is indicated by sensing a rapid temperature increase in the Gluteus Maximus area.

Anyone else seen (err...felt) this? I'm planning on calling tech support about this later today.

That's a new one on me; but I don't have 5.9 yet, either.

Odd you should say that. I've only had 5.9 for 2 says, but I could have swore I had a little heat going on down there (hehe) for a bit last night as well. Also no center console indication, so I dismissed it.

A few days after I accepted 5.9, my wife was using our MS and said that both the driver and passenger seat heaters were definitely "on" but the console didn't indicate they were on. She said they cycled both seat heater settings on, then off, and the heat stopped. It hasn't returned.

I'm taking it in sometime in the next week for an unrelated issue & they're going to look at it then, though with my luck this gremlin won't manifest itself for them.

Oh wow! I thought it was just me! This morning my seat got really warm and the indicator showed that the seat heater was off. I was rolling through town with the windows down and it was 65 degrees out.
