Does anyone have a working email address for Tesla customer service? A couple of months ago my car broke down on a parkway. Only state-licensed tow truck drivers were allowed to operate, so I had to pay out of pocket for a licensed driver to tow my car off the parkway, then transfer it to a Tesla tow truck. I was told to email [email protected] with a copy of the receipt to get reimbursed. I tried to do that today and got a message back saying that that email address was no longer monitored. I’ve looked all over the app and the website and can’t find a contact address. Grrrr. The only option I can think of is scheduling a service appointment and when they respond asking them for a working email address. I thought I’d check here before resorting to that. Thanks for any suggestions!

Hey guys, 2016 Tesla model S. I pick a destination and it never connects. I had this happen on my 2016 and Tesla told me it was either an antenna problem or some MMC chip that needed replacing. Honestly with so many many years ago, I really don’t remember.

So I called them about this and they said they don’t really have a fix for it and it’s best to update to MCU2. Seem like overkill?

Has anyone ever fixed themselves? Thanks peeps!

I took my 2020 Model X for a trip this weekend and charged it various super chargers along the way. I got the car back at 8% battery level and plugged it into the Nema outlet I have at home. (I do not have a Tesla Wall Connector). Home charging has always given me about a 35-40 KM / H range while charging and about a 32-40 kW charge. Right now and all of overnight the car has been charging at 2 KW with only 8/8A. I have reset the circuit breaker, diconnected and reconnected the charging cable but still no avail.
Please advise if someone has a solution.

As per subject, my Tesla Wallbox doesn't see some of the WiFi I have...

Repeaters completely not showed in the list when choosing the WiFi to connect to.
I resumed an old WiFi AP and it sees it, worked for 2 weeks then the AP died ...

Now bouth a Xiaomi Extender, fresh new.
WiFi works for cameras, smartphones, etc. The Wallbox does not see it ... am I doing something wrong ?!

Is there any (known) limitation in which WiFi are usable ?

Model S 2017

In a bit of a pickle. Yesterday tried charging battery at tesla supercharger and it wasn't working. Tried 6 more chargers (two st BP Pulse) but got a message on dash saying unable to charge. Did power off from screen and waiter 5 minutes. Did the trick and was able to charge.

Today the same thing happened. Did the power off but didn't make a difference. Tesla said possibly ems fault. Car not under warranty but battery is. Cannot give loaner until car diagnosed with battery fault. I'm 300 miles away from home was due to go back today. Called insurance who fi ally said they would tow me home, only to find out my MOT expired yesterday!!! Need new MOT in order for insurance to help tow.

The question is, tomorrow I've booked MOT. Will this fail as the car is not charging? Do they check battery and charging faults?

i am buying a 2024 tesla model y long range AWD 5 seat, does it come with the carpet floor mats?

My 2024 MS is sitting in the garage set to charge to 80%. The garage temperature is 73F and the car interior is 79F. Is this temperature because it is charging every now and then to keep charge at 80%? Should i keep the climate turned on and maintain cabin at 72F?

OK, I need help. I have a 2021 M3P and subscribed to the monthly Premium Connectivity for the audio, which I've been receiving since purchasing the car. Recently I had to cancel the debit card and replace it with another. I lost the Premium Connectivity feature. And, when I go in to access my account in the car, it prompts me for my Tesla email and password. I've done this repeatedly and get the same response that it's unable to access it and to try later. What's going on? I've tried to address this in my Tesla mobile app, but can't find any reference to it.

I just took delivery of a 2024 3std range. Last time I checked In my app could tell each super charging near me and the rates based on the time of day. Thanks I ran an update last night. And since then I can’t find that info in the app

Was curious about if this would be about average for battery degradation for a 21 M3LR with 84,400 miles? Car has been great and is still incredibly quick for having so many miles on it. (Dragy numbers 11.8@115 and 0-60 3.4sec with rollout) Small back story, bought car from the Hertz fleet as they offloaded all these model 3s. Got a great deal and picked it up for under $25k to qualify for $4k tax credit. Ran through the undercarriage to make sure there was no damage. Car was pretty dang clean for a rental even with the higher mileage.

Had my M3P MOT'd last week...the next day the car started to emit quite a loud noise from the rear at anything above about 25-30mph. Noise disappeared when stopped. Took the opportunity to have a look around rear wheel arches, nothing untoward. Then, I checked under the rear bumper and noticed the tow bar hitch cover was missing. Could be a coincidence, but I am suspicious. But anyway, I think that's where the noise is being generated. The thing is, please does anyone have a suggestion as to if/how I could effect a temporary repair (safely), that might lessen or prevent the noise, whilst the spare part makes its way over from China? I've considered cardboard & duct tape, but I'm not sure that's going to tick the 'safe' box. Sounds like a low-flying light aircraft passing overhead!

I've tried reaching out via the app and looking for direct support options, but I haven't found a straightforward way to resolve this.

New member and excited to purchase my first Tesla. We have narrowed it down to Model S LR with white interior and yoke. However, trying to decide on the exterior color - ultra red or white. Initially thought about white but when I saw ultra red model s pictures on forums it looks fresh, sporty and aggressive. We saw an ultra red model y in the showroom and wasn’t too impressed. Wife feels white on white looks futuristic and like a spaceship. Two yr old daughter thinks white model s is a unicorn. Looking for some advice on whether white on white is still cool or should I go with ultra red with white interior (the contrast looks awesome) !!

Anyone with long term issues with either of the colors. We already have a white bmw.

Can i disable the open trunk button or change it to unlock only? It's so easily accessible and possible to open the trunk accidentally in my garage and it would hit the garage door. I tried to make it to open really low, but there seems to be a threshold below which it will not open to the saved position

I just picked up my 2024 MY Performance (FSD is not enabled) 2 days ago (as of the creation of this post ), I updated the software to the latest 2024.44.8 and now I noticed the below issues (I've tried a soft & hard resetting/restarting):

1. The lane lines do not appear while driving (the road is pure white) but the cars do show
2. The bar/indicator that shows acceleration or when brake regeneration is working also no longer shows

However prior to the update all this was working. Is there some settings (I already have the lane assist enabled as well) I should check or is this a bug (apologies if this has already been asked if there is a post with this same discussion)

Hi, I have been looking to lower my 2024 model y 7 seat option by a 1". Almost all manufacturers exclude the 3rd row or 7-seat option. I guess this is due to the extra weight in the back or reverse racking.

Some companies give options for coilovers, but the cost is 2x to 3x. Plus, I like the new suspension on the Model Y.

Has anyone been through this for the 7-seat option Or any suggestions?

I have acquired a 2019 model 3 standard plus. When I engage TACC, it acts like regular cruise without keeping a following distance, and the right scroll wheel does NOT bring up the following distance selections. Also, when trying to go to autosteer nothing happens. I have a model Y and am familiar with all these features. The 3 was the most basic version that they sold for 35K, Did it not come with those features, or is it a software issue? (did a software update and still not getting these features).

I just purchased a 2013 Model S.

First time charging and it cuts off at 68%.
I have got on the app and tired adjusting it on the screen, but nothing will allow me to move it any higher. Anyone else have this problem or know what to do?

I currently own a 2017 Model S 75 equipped with the standard 'Base' headlights. Unfortunately, the LED strip on my headlight brow has burnt out, prompting me to consider replacing both headlights. I'm exploring the possibility of upgrading to the 'Up-Level' headlights and wondering if this swap would be compatible without encountering any issues. Can I seamlessly install the 'Up-Level' headlights in place of the 'Base' ones?
