It is perfectly unclear if the Cybertruck is anything other than normal glass (vs 'armor' more expensive options)
here in Alaska no insurers cover windshields. It always surprises me that glass is covered other places. I go through at least one windshield a year between the 4 vehicles we own.
Some states write minimal insurance policy standards and include glass, or even zero-glass deductible policies as mandatory requirements.
Many states do not do that.
The states with mandated policy standards tend to have higher rates.
That's a little high for me, but I don't live in Alaska.
You have WAY more gravel roads than just about any other state. A flying gravel stone will win over a pane of glass at every encounter.
The few times I have had windshields replaced were all caused by flying rocks.
