I have experienced "phantom breaking" 8-10 times in the 2 months I have owned the car. I submit a bug report every time in hopes they can use the data to improve the system.

So...I had several issues at delivery like scratched paint, misaligned FWD, misaligned hood, etc. The way I was treated when I brought these things up to the delivery manager got me so mad I almost didn't take delivery...but I did. I have had my 75D for a month now and I can't express how happy...

I tinted the top portion of my front windshield with Crystalline and had it stop where the visor would align. It's SO much cooler inside the car.

As a consumer, you have the choice. If you or anyone doesn't like the way Tesla makes changes and feels there is a better product out there, go buy it. If I ever feel that way that is what I will do. These are 1st world problems.

Sounds like you should sell your car. Maybe you are in the minority and other owners like the upgrades? You can't make everyone happy.

Awesome! Someone else flush mounted the wiring harness on the cover so it wasn't visible from the rear.

There was a post on here somewhere about this. The OP cut the hole and mounted the wiring plug on the exterior of the cover so he never had to remove the cover. I want to do the same for mine since I will leave it on all the time.

I just took delivery of my X and my commute to work is 2 miles. :) My nearest SC is over 250 miles away. The Ranger comes to my city each week so as long as nothing major happens I do not plan on having to take it back to the SC very often.

I’m in Charlotte for delivery. Car is outside in the rain and the latest software is not downloaded. The car also has a few pretty major scratches in the hood. I showed the delivery manager and he said yep and was like so what. Not the way I wanted to start my ownership experience.

I received a text last night stating my delivery has been scheduled for 12/21 at 9 AM in Charlotte.

They will definitely get a refresh soon...maybe as early as next year. I struggled with this as well. I finally pulled the trigger on a X to take advantage of the full tax credit. I think Tesla's and most electric cars will constantly be updated to newer technologies. More range would be a bonus...

We are building the same car (but i did buy black 20" wheels from TSportline). Got my VIN but no email from DS yet. Mine shows "Your Tesla order has been confirmed and scheduled for production in our factory" as well. Hmm......

Got a VIN assigned today...let's see what's next.

My X is in the "Scheduled for Production" stage. How long before I am assigned a DS. I need a few days notice before delivery is scheduled. I am on the East Coast so I'm not too worried. I'm more concerned with taking delivery before the end of the year.
