I must be missing something quite vital to operating our cars -- the regen line is something I always felt was a bit of a gimmick but clearly a lot of people find it critical information. Reminder to self: pay close attention to regen indication line...
I like looking at it as I guess lots of others do but also other than knowing if you have limited power or regen, it doesn’t really do anything useful. More a “Ooo, this hill is steep enough that I am charging the battery while maintaining my speed”.

It’s the inner Nigel in me (If you remember those adverts?).

I was of course being somewhat tongue in cheek and am a big believer that all data is good data. It just seemed a lot of passion over a small thing. Knowing when brake regeneration is reduced is important but when the battery is cold or regen reduced because the charge level is high the car provides specific notification.

We have a lot of complainers here. As a foreigner it’s not my place to say perhaps it’s a British thing….

You'll need to learn how to complain if you want to pass your Life in the UK test to become a citizen someday. Also need to sharpen your sarcasm into a fine instrument ;)

I said to a guy on a call from another country the other day "Hi, how are you?" as the normal greeting and he started to tell me how things are not good. I had to stop him and say "Sorry but it's just a greeting, I don't care if your life sucks. Just answer I'm good and you? so you stick to British the script". :)

The average speed camera chime worked while navigation volume was on mute, although it wasn't a really noticeable sound (like an old door bell) whilst listening to music.

The display however was fantastic, below the speed limit it showed my actual average speed whilst in the section.
I'm looking forward to that as there's tons of these zones near me. Good to hear it's nice.

It is still giving pointless instructions to "keep right" all the time when navigating?
Yep. Even with the updated maps.

Overall I’m pretty impressed with this update on my Atom Model 3. It’s noticeably smoother and Netflix is now useable again. The extra visualisations for other vehicles are interesting (though I’d not show oncoming traffic on the motorway by choice because it’s distracting), speed camera improvements are useful, and Autopilot is a bit better. I even managed to engage it with Autosteer on a road without lane markings and it worked OK.

I also think Autopilot is smoother in stop/start traffic.

Downsides? The hands-on nag is now very sensitive. I got kicked out of Autosteer within 20 minutes of starting my journey, which is only the second time in 3 years. It needs more than a nudge to satisfy the warning.

Not sure if this is a change but it crapped its pants when an HGV joined the A1 from a 90 degree junction and a bit of the cab swung into my lane. I was able to predict the behaviour about a second before it actually went for the brakes, but as I had a car up my chuff at the time it needed the accelerator pedal mashing to the floor to fix. In reality it was piss-poor driving by the HGV driver, but they need to be put into a modern vehicle from time to time to see the effect their decisions have on autonomous safety features.

Christ almighty, what's with everyone needing to look at a fecking regen bar?
Different strokes for different folks. When you are at the top of the Pyrenees, having travelled up them from Spain and have 1.5 hours to drive to get to the supercharger in France where you are advised your remaining battery will be 29% but....you are already at 29%...it's quite comforting to see the green regen showing your battery being charged as you head downhill.

I find the AP just cannot come with cars waiting in the central reservation ready to cross over the dual carriageway. I can pretty much predict it is going to slam the brakes on everytime.

Updated to 14.6 the other day.
Now audio comes on at random it seems.
An amusing thing happened on visualisation screen when I was in mid-manoeuvre - my neighbour I was chatting with turned into a flock of sheep 🐑 🐑 🐑 🐑 dancing it seemed!
