YouTube app restricted to 360p HOW TO CHANGE IT.

For those of you that have noticed that the UI for the Youube app in our Tesla’s has changed… the YouTube app now has a “settings” icon at the top right of any video.. but the drop-down menu for resolution doesn’t work.

But it does.

Simple double tap the resolution drop down menu, then click the left steering wheel button to the left to cycle through the resolution options.

Problem solved!

If you switch YouTube to "theater mode" using a button that looks like a rectangle in the bottom right hand corner (next to the fullscreen button) then the settings button moves to the lower right hand corner and the on-screen resolution menu works without needing to use the audio scroll wheel.

I only have the full screen button.. theater mode has gone away with this new UI update

while this fixed the main youtube video resolution issues, i'm still having trouble watching the "Shorts" in the youtube app. it just zooms in to fill in widescreen vs playing it in the native portrait orientation... has anyone found a fix for this?
