Winter tires for 19" are out of stock, can I get rims and use 18" ?

I use MSW 18" Model 48 wheels with Blizzaks on my LR AWD. They are fantastic. I don't notice and range difference other than what I'd expect from simply driving in the cold weather.

As a follow-up to my post with the MICHELIN X-ICE SNOW 235/55R18, I completed a 2,350 mile road trip from VA to MI. Temps were from 40F to 10F. Most (1,900 miles) of the driving was 80mph on highways. I averaged 348 Wh/mi. Since getting back and driving around town, at a much more sedate speed with temps above freezing, in 250 miles I've averaged 260 Wh/mi, which is slightly above the OEM on 19" average of 242 Wh/mi.
