Why can't the car just STAY ON (and hack-workaround)

Especially during covid times, I would eat in my car, but use the passenger side for more space. But I have a rotating screen, and wanted to keep the car on to look it and use it.

I found that if I just pressed into the driver seat, that would trigger a human-in-seat, and turn the car on. And would then stay on as long as I was in the passenger seat.

Might or might not help you here, but it might work to just press into the driver seat.

Dangerous?
I’d love to see the scenario in which your backpack splits apart, keeps some weight on the brake, while the other half flies up and hits the gear stake from above to push it down and then it all falls back to floor and moves all the weight to the accelerator and then your car is on the loose and out for blood…
HA! Yeah, did you name your car Christine?!
