Just wanted to post a note to say that wheel bands work. (at least it did for me).
This weekend, for the first time since I've had my car since June 2019, I ran against a curb while parallel parking. I heard a crunch -- it sounded so bad I thought there was no way it didn't go through the bands all the way to the wheel.
But sure enough, the bands got scuffed, but not even bad enough where I need to replace it on that wheel. I just pressed it back into place.
I got mine from EVannex (I have the white reflective ones), but it probably doesn't matter where you get them or brand.
