And Tesla gave the final answer to this thread. Supercharging hardware in the 60kW Model S will be included at no extra cost. Wow! :love:

Yes, but there may be a charge for use with the 60 kw.

Poll needs to indicate time period. One time fee for the life of the car, or per year subscription?

Each use will use approximately 35 kw, at say .15 per kw $5.25 per use in electrons alone + equipment and maintenance. IMO $10 per use would be very fair. If the car makes it to 12 years old and gets used once per month thats $1440.
 
Don't want to cross post but noted in previous thread that there appears to be plans for a fee for 60kWh cars, to enable the Supercharge hardware, as Lloyd implies above. Free hardware, but you have to pay to be able to use it. Bummer. The 85's will come enabled, per Tesla specialist in CA. Would appreciate any more info others have on this.
