Unplugged Performance Fascia issue

After now 2 test fittings there are sizable holes left by what I would consider overcutting the fascia during manufacturing or maybe I got someone else's fitting mistake. See pics and video.

I understand aftermarket parts aren't OEM and some fit tolerance is to be expected. But this seems more than that to me since I can't see the same issue in the other UP fascia here locally or their marketing pics.

What would you do? Continue to go down the customer service route or live with it?

Update: UP looking into it. Possibly due to matrix headlights, but that's just a theory.

Matrix has been out since 2021 and the headlight shape isn't different at all. That's why people are swapping from reflector to matrix in a different thread here on TMC. Looks like you just got a overcut/messed up bumper.

I agree thats not the root cause. There are physical differences in old vs new headlight but mostly on the underside.

That’s right, I forgot about that. The bumper brackets on the underside of the headlight is different from reflector to matrix, but it def won’t fix that rounded oblong cut around corner of the headlight.

New fascia approved, hopefully shipped soon.
