Timing my order/delivery

Hi guys and gals,

I’m looking to pickup a MYP, white on white, in mid to late May. When I spec it out, the site is telling me March-April delivery.

Is it possible to pre-order now, and postpone delivery until mid-May? If not, let’s say I wait until the prospective delivery is between April and May. Would I then be able to schedule delivery in mid-late May?

Also, should there be any price adjustments, at what point am I locked in?

Welcome to TMC! It's a great forum.

Hang out here for a while and you'll quickly learn that Tesla's ordering/delivering scheduling is woefully inconsistent. Questions about delivery dates are always answered with pure speculation.

That said, if you change your location to a specific region, those in your region might give you their most recent experiences. However, keep in mind, whatever happened yesterday, or even today, regarding Tesla delivery timing, is nothing that you should bank on.

Bottom line: allow several weeks on either side of any delivery date Tesla offers.

I'd watch closer til you are ready to purchase. Too many delays on your end will result in cancellation.
