Tesla wants to charge me for their own fault...

Crazy how Tesla is charging me for their own fault… parking brake failure on a 2016 Model X, a recall issued and replaced in 2018 and fails again how is this my fault?

Anyone in the same boat?

Playing devil's advocate, can you point to something that makes it their fault? Like bad recall repair (like forgot a bolt) or parts (wrong part). Did you retrieve the old parts? I always get the old parts so I can inspect to determine failure and cause. Do you know what specific part failed and why. Talk to service about the parts and reason for failure. Without these answers your own question can't be answered.

Unless the repair has a 5 year warranty, "whose fault it is" is not relevant, its on your dime to get it replaced.
