I am getting 50% of it and its fascinating. I am getting the words "hardware", "software", "power", "data" and "computing" to name a few and I am in IT.
as a software engineer, someone who used to do a lot of overclocking and rig-building, and as someone who built several cryptocurrency rigs and did a lot of fairly deep analysis of various chip designs to figure out optimal setups and project future capabilities of various GPU and CPU products, this stuff is super fascinating to me, even if some of it is going well over my head. it looks like a super solid design, though.
I know it is geeky and I only understand some of this but with all the FUD of people leaving Tesla all the time, I am impressed with this guy. It gives me the impression some good s**t is going on at Tesla. I think even of the analysts don't understand all of what this guy is saying, they will be as impressed as I am.
I'm impressed by Trip - he actually has some knowledge about neural network and asked very specific questions about whether the chip can support other activation functions like tanh or sigmoid functions.
