Much sexier haunches and rear than the X. I'm relieved and excited. This translates to a much broader appeal in my opinion. It's gonna kill it.

And the personal license plate options with the Y are going to be endlessly clever.

Surprised by how little time Elon actually spent presenting the Y. 5 minutes maybe? In the blue color, it was difficult to really see the shape, but clearly very similar to the 3.

They really picked the worst color and lighting. It's so much nicer on the site

Close the tab and go to the Tesla site. I got right in to the Y order page.

Fall 2020 for Model Y. That's a long time from now. Not much chance of osborne effect for Model 3 considering that far off date.

Should be good for Model 3 sales and allow it to entrench itself into the marketplace. Shanghai GF will be pumping out a lot of Model 3s by then too.
