Interesting TDLR permit filing last week indicates that Tesla is renovating a building at 9633 Westheimer Rd. which is a few blocks away from the existing service center at 3750 Westchase Dr.

Nice find! That's the former Borders books location. That will be an improvement over the smaller Westchase location. I hope they install Superchargers here as I live in the Westchase location.

I think you mean "the former Houston Jewelry location, back when Houston Jewelry was a department store and not just a jeweler." But that was a long time ago. I grew up in that part of Houston so I know the area well.

You're right. It was the former Houston Jewelry location (I googled). It was a Borders when I moved here - then the annual Halloween Express store.
