Ugh… Some of us STILL can’t order one because the Tesla site knows that my 3 is not currently compatible! :(

I'm reading that if you do a DIY retrofit and get the car to acknowledge being CCS-enabled, then you can order one on the website. Interesting if true.

However, unless you really need one now, may be best to wait until 2023, get the (safe) Tesla Service retrofit, and order the adapter then, If Europe is any indication, there will be affordable package deals--i.e., retrofit+adapter.

Well, I really want to move ahead with my bundle of wires retrofit, assuming I can secure the correct ECU.
After some retries on the Tesla site, I found a way around the “incompatible with your car” issue that was blocking/disabling the add to cart button. Not really sure what I did, but after some web page refreshes, I was able to place my order. Weird…
