Superchargers in Northern California (location speculation)

I'm guessing they will be next to the Black Bear Diner in Mt Shasta and next to the Burger King in Corning. Anyone live in the area that could do a drive by to check it out?
The Black Bear Diner in Mt Shasta has now been confirmed by more great detective work from pdx4s - see this post in the Oregon Supercharger thread.

Corning seems too far North. That forces S60s to go to Folsom. Further South around Maxwell would allow people to Fremont, even in an S60...

Central Valley travelers will be able to use the planned Manteca supercharger which will be 174 miles from Corning. Bay Area travelers will be able to stop in Vacaville (116 miles from Corning) when that station is built.

Yes, Corning to Vacaville is easy.
My theory is based on the observation that their plans in Oregon clearly changed. If you look at the map they had planned to build Ashland, Roseburg, Eugene, Woodburn. And instead of Ashland and Roseburg we now have Grants Pass. So it seems to me that they are thinning things out in order to get more done with fewer superchargers - at least in the next phase. And from that point of view, Corning is too far north.

Has someone found permits, observed construction, anything?

Ahh, never mind, just saw the other response, my comments below----vvvv

Is this a random sighting of the Corning supercharger station?

Could this be another view of it?

If so, then we can see that it's at the Best Western Plus, right next to the only Burger King in town. It's also apparent that it's almost done!

Approximate address: 950 Highway 99 W, Corning, CA
RIght next to Starbucks and some fast food options and directly by the exit. That certainly sounds very much credible.
And the pictures seem to imply that it's nearly ready - actually, both pictures are from 10 days ago...

There's got to be a TMC member within reasonable driving distance...

That does line up with Google Maps. The chargers are at the center of this map: Google Maps in the back of the parking lot for Rabobank.

From the Oregon Supercharger thread, the crew just now completing the Grants Pass, Oregon, Supercharger were quoted as saying they are next headed to Vacaville for their next installation.

That's right. They're going from Grants Pass to Vacaville, Detroit Lake OR, and Yuma AZ. Grants Pass had power connected today.

The Vacaville location is at the back of a mall. (I have no more detail than that, but there is an outlet mall in Vacaville, which is Tesla's m.o.)
