It's really great that the Grand Canyon has these Superchargers! My last trip would've had better routing with these. I'd like see more Superchargers around National Parks. Some are coming along, but others are lagging.
The El Tovar has one 220v outlet (back of the building by the service entrance) that they kindly let me use, and that was super helpful since there weren't any Superchargers in the area yet. In the unlikely event you ever need to use it, ask the concierge.

Yes, but I suspect one could use that outlet without staying there (by asking politely). Keep in mind that it was June 2018, but I expect the outlet is still there. Given the signage, I made sure to move my car as soon as the charging was done.
Whether you stay at the El Tovar or not, be sure to enjoy happy hour on its deck facing the canyon. Cheers!
