Here is the second prototype of my Gen2 iPhone Supercharger.

Housing of the Supercharger is near to original :biggrin:

can the charge cords we swapped out to change to another format?

That would allow your charger to keep on charging.

Even if Apple adds inductive charging, the lighting port will stay. And I doubt Android phones will be changing their micro USB port either, since it's a required standard in Europe.

I could do it changeable.

But two 3D printed plastic parts holding each other - can't guarantee that they keep each other. I've glued them.

Yep - you're right and I am working on this.
But keep in mind that 3D printing is kind of pricey and only the print for 1 SuC needs 13 hours.

I will let you know exact prices once I have confirmed details.

It has already changed, it's called USB Type C, and is here to stay

Estimated costs will be $120 - it is very work-intensive and there is a lot of post-treatment to do.
Delivery time approx. 3 weeks.

Once I have everything arranged I will contact everybody who is interested.

I purchased the iPhone charger from MaddinOr and was delighted to find out that not only is it functional as an iPhone charger, but it compliments my Tesla Model S which I purchased from the Tesla Store. The proportions are perfect :smile:.

You need to specify which type of connection you need for your iPhone (lightning or USB)

Not cheap, but I thought worth it. Takes a couple of weeks to get it from Germany.
