That happened to me the other day in Oxnard. The Nav said 14 of 14 available when got there not even 5 min later there where 7 cars and no owners in site so I doubt they all just got there.I arrived here last month in car map said 1 free stall and all the stalls were full with charging Tesla’s but one with a Mercedes suv parked in it
That's an entirely differently problem than what techguy was talking about. That happened to me the other day in Oxnard. The Nav said 14 of 14 available when got there not even 5 min later there where 7 cars and no owners in site so I doubt they all just got there.
Yep and looking at the above picture you can see another Gas SUV blocking one of the chargers. That's an entirely differently problem than what techguy was talking about.
Thanks for your report. So just to be clear, three additional stalls were added?Buellton is fully open now. I was back over the weekend. Sorry no pics
No they just remodeled the existing stalls no new ones. They just changed the existing ones. The 2 on the end are now ADA and the last one was changed to front facing. Thanks for your report. So just to be clear, three additional stalls were added?
So the total number of stalls is now 13?
Okay thanks, apologies for my confusion. I’ve revised the thread title. No they just remodeled the existing stalls no new ones. They just changed the existing ones. The 2 on the end are now ADA and the last one was changed to front facing.
Pro Tip; Don’t plan on charging in Buellton after a launch.
The line was ~60+ deep. I didn’t need a charge... just passed by.

It was a mess... there were cars blocked in trying to get out... dunno how that was gonna happen anytime soon. But this was a little more avoidable than Harris Ranch type bottlenecks before Kettleman city. People would have been fine if they had planned to have enough charge to make Oxnard. Heading West there’s 48 bays within range of Vandenberg.
Tesla should be more proactive too. No doubt some of these backups can’t be predicted....this shouldn’t have surprised anyone. An attendant collecting cell phone numbers and asking people to park would have likely alleviated a lot of stress and obviously prevented 60 cars from blocking in the hotel parking lot.
What is she angry about? There’s always a silver Mercury SUV with an angry Russian lady that parks there. Have seen her on multiple stops there over the years. Do not advise approaching or interacting with her. Lucky we made it out of there without getting keyed.
