Soft close in centre console draw no longer working

The soft close feature of the sliding door of my centre console is no longer working after I had to remove the lid (long story as to why).

Any ideas on how to fix? Or what the issue may be? The draw is affixed to the 2 metal springs.

The sliding door of mine was not opening fully. I pulled out the cubby underneath the screen to find a couple of cables, one was hanging down, blocking the opening of the door. Pushed it back up and presto. All working.
