The weekly production numbers for 2016 are predicated upon using a single production line:
"Furthermore, since Model Sand Model X are produced on the same general assembly line, Model X production challenges could slow Model Sproduction"
That's the bad news. The good news is that the other production line will be configured for Model 3 (what else would they do with it?) and there will be plenty of time to make this happen. Maybe it's because of pressure from the Chevy Bolt, but I see a real determination to keep Model 3 delivery schedule intact, if at all possible. I also like the wording that a small quantity of Model X vehicles for delivery to customers will take place in Q3. This statement reinforces plans to begin Model X deliveries during September.
