Seatbelt Shoulder Strap Cushion (New Pacemaker)

I am scheduled tomorrow for a pacemaker implant. I will need something to cushion the shoulder strap on the driver's side. I would appreciate suggestions or recommendations. Thanks!

There are seatbelt comfort covers that use Velcro to help pad the belt against your skin or clothes. Walmart and other big stores sell them for around $10.

Is there any way to adjust the seatbelt? I am short and the strap comes right across my throat and jaw.

While my wife had a port installed for chemo, one of the local charities gave her a pillow that the local middle schools make in home ec for the same purpose. It was about 6x8 and an inch or so thick. It didn't attach to the seat belt, but it did allow her freedom to adjust it as needed and take with her to different cars. You could probably look for something similar size at any local store.

I got this one a few months after I got the car. here
I usually have collar less shirts, and the belt always rubbed on my neck. This one has been perfect for me.
