Safety features without autopilot?

I was just wondering, for model y, are any of the active safety features (such as lane assist, forward collision warning, etc) on if you don't engage autopilot? Or are they only available if you go into autopilot mode (double tap on the right stalk)?

Most of the active safety features are always on, and some are configurable, so you should familiarize yourself with the explanations, options, and limitations outlined in the owner's manual.
