Quick defogging windows with Heat Pump equipped Tesla Vehicles?

Our 2018 Model 3 with PTS heaters could defog the windows almost instantly, which can be very important for safety. If you take off on a cold day without preconditioning the car (I almost never did on our 2018) and a few minutes down the road need to defog, will the windows clear? That was one of the things I liked about our 2018, did not need to warm up the car on a cold day like an ICE car.
