Question about the new Tempest Wheels

This site may earn commission on affiliate links.
I did one test run with the stock wheel covers at 70mph on autopilot and NOA for 30 minutes and averaged 255watts per mile. The highway was wet and flat no hills other than overpasses. Next week I might get out and do a similar test with the wheel covers off over the same stretch of highway.
Nice. Curious to see the results.

Do the center caps come off of the Model S Tempest “Hubcaps”?
Will I lose anything by removing the ugly tempest covers?
Everything to gain, except a little range. The center caps do not come off the hubcaps. You just need to order new caps of choice and lug nut covers on Amazon.
