Hi Folks, I'm waiting on parking brake calipers to get shipped to my home (still in transit) where I plan to swap the calipers as mine is making a grinding noise so its starting to fail.
Just curious, can I set the car to tow mode, pull the wheels off and disconnect the wire to the parking brake? Basically I want it to remain disengaged, I figure I'll ask my wife to toss a brick under the tire when we stop anywhere for a period of time.
I just need to get around a bit until my new ones arrive. I get not to drive when its raining/wet, and will cover all connectors.
I just don't know if the car will allow me to drive, or will it simply not move until its connected?
