Has anyone found ANY brake controller that supports Tesla’s 15.5 V.
Prodigy-Tekonsha service lead says their operating range doesn’t go to 15.5. They hadn’t tested and don’t know failure mode. Said don’t use it.
Tesla disconnected the 12v aux wiring from the 7 pin. So RF brake controller is a no go.
RedArc has a controller that goes to 24v but the wiring doesn’t work.
Stepping down power isn’t rocket science, first year engineering student could solve it.
I have a teardrop that’s 1900 lbs. dry. 2022 Model Y with Lithium Ion batter. It’s a perfectly balanced rig, but no brake controller turned it into a brick ;( Tesla service and GM worked on this for two years and didn’t get a resolution. Corporate ‘didn’t expect anyone to tow.’
I appreciate any ideas
