P3D with Performance Upgrade and Black Interior status

lol, so that was quick.
Just got a call from a delivery specialist that I could pick my car up as early as Sunday (!!!!). I let the call go to voicemail since it was a call from Vegas and I figured it was a spam call.
Problem is, I wasn't expecting it til late Sept, so don't have the cash available. Ended up deciding to reduce the number of cars we have, so was selling the GT3 to the dealer on Tuesday, and using today/tomorrow to put the stock brake pads back on. Suppose I'll call and see how much I get reduced if I just give them the pads.
Thing my holiday weekend just changed from casual to hectic.

Happy for you... but FML.... I've been waiting ~10 weeks and crickets....

Decided not to rush it, will just go through with my original plan of getting stuff together this week.

Car drivers extremely well, very happy. (I'm coming from a P85D for reference.)
No issues with panel gaps, etc. There was a chip on the window which they will replace at some point. I'm not worried about it because it is so small so I just picked up the car and will go over it and make a list of anything that I find. So far though, it's perfect. Oh and we are all crazy here, because ever car I've ever purchased (mostly BMW) has had some kind of imperfection (panel gap, paint, something)... We are just more anal about Tesla's and I don't know why....

Finally got my delivery date as well! Red P3D+, black interior, FSD.
Stoked that my insurance rate at Progressive is actually going down with a new, quicker car (replacing a 2011 V8 muscle car) and while adding full glass coverage.

I was given a delivery date THREE DAYS after placing my order. (Day One reservation holder.) I was told that I was “hard matched “as well.
I’m not complaining and feel like I won the lottery, but I’m curious about the circumstances that led to this outcome!

Just found out my car is currently chilling in Burbank. She's probably excited to see some movie stars before making her way down to SD the weekend.

No clue but there were not paint, panel, etc issues. It tracks perfectly straight, it's a total blast to drive. I think it had 4 or 5 miles on it when I picked it up.

Have you tried calling? I called them yesterday only to check if the referral was applied to my order, I didn't ask about the status of it. I have noticed in this thread that a lot of people are reporting movement about a day after they've called.
Interesting you say that. I called in to inquire about cancelling so I can pick up a used Model S, a few hours later I had a VIN. Coincidence? By the way, I'm glad I didn't cancel, the P3D+ is super fun to drive.
