P3D with Performance Upgrade and Black Interior status

Oh me tool. Although it sounds selfish, i hope they run out of white seats for a little while. The margin i was talking about was not black to white it was P3D+ Black over P3D Black.A guess, nothing more than that, is that the white has more margin than does the black. Although white apparently has the 1,000 per month limitation to which Elon referred a couple of months ago, that actually might not mean it costs more. Their assumption might well be that those of us who are sufficiently gullible to opt for the most well-equipped version might tend to take "all options that cost extra" thus including white. Anyway in the beginning everything was the same price from 18" to 20", white, black, it was all the same price. Then maybe almost all of us preferred white.
Finally, they do want the simplest possible production line, so probably batch exterior color, interior color, Performance upgrade too.
Frankly I do not care why: I just want my new toy!!
We can probably guess that the following is the best margin in order...
1. P3D+ WHITE
2. P3D+ BLACK
3. P3D WHITE
4. P3D BLACK
They are not building the middle two variants at the moment.
That's probably the furthest I've seen. I am still on the original page w/ Edit button and grey for Payment box.

Yes it seems like they have 2 assembly lines for these. P3D+/white and P3D/black so they don't compete for the seats and + stuff. Who knows.
Indeed. It'd appear that P3D+ w/ black production start is imminent. However I am definitely sticking w/ black interior and I can wait.

Oddly, not according to the spreadsheet. P- and P+ together, black is nearly twice as popular (101) as white (69); I didn't look at just P+ yet.
OK, P+ only is a closer split: 42 white and 54 black.
I posted at slightly more length here, but my current speculation from the spreadsheet is:
GA4 is producing only P+ with only white.
GAp is producing AWD and P- with only black.
GAq is producing only LR with only black.
GAr is producing only LR with only black.
I just heard from my delivery specialist who told me my delivery will definitely be slowed down by changing color. So, I may be a bit delayed but eventually I'll have what i really want.

Alas, I would do white interior, but I already have white exterior, so white paint + white seats + white dashboard + white headliner is a bit much IMHO.

How do you know who your Delivery Advisor is if you don’t have a VIN yet? Or do you have a VIN?

I do not know why I have an advisor but no vin. I always imagined they were closely linked.
No I did not ask, but I did ask to value my trade, which might have been the catalyst. I do not know.
I'm thinking they must be running out of the white P+ interiors to fulfill soon so black will happen imminently... but man... frustrating seeing all the P- cars w/ black interior getting delivered at my service center while I'm sitting here without even a VIN.
really?? you’re seeing P with black interior being delivered? i didn’t get VIN yet but i’m east coast. my two friends had 8/8 (he rescheduled to 8/17) and 8/11 ad delia dates for their P (white int)

Last time I looked, spreadsheet says all known P- are coming with black and all known P+ are coming with white.
