Lucky you! I ordered a Midnight Silver MYP on the same night and my EDD still says April 12 - May 10. I'm in Northern California.

As far as I know, all the Performance MY are coming out of Fremont factory at the moment. While anything can change at any point, I think it is safe to assume that MYPs delivered this summer will likely come from Fremont with 2170 batteries.

No, but personally I prefer to get the 2170 batteries. They have years of refinements behind them. While the new solutions are necessary, I don't want to be the first one testing them

I ordered on March 15th MYP black / black with tow no VIN tho … I assume it’s going to be soon

After waiting for for a couple of months now we changed our order to MYP. No update in EDD still shows Jan 22 - March 19 (in 2023)!
original order date was 16th junee.

Some people reported it took 5 days to see an update...while others within 24 hrs. I'm sure it will update soon.

I was watching a video on model Y P and they mentioned new vehicles come with PPF already installed? Can someone confirm if US gets these. I can not find that info anywhere.

The PPF is just as small triangle of material ahead of the rear wheel. Tesla sells this small piece on the online store but most people seem to get it with the car.

That is a shame, I thought it was full car protection
My wife really wants it and I am not sure. if I want to spend the money as I have never had it for any other cars I owned.
