new model Y windshield issue: embedded fault?

I purchased a 2023 Model Y after I got reimbursed for my old one under a Lemon Law resolution, and was very happy with that.

However I recently noticed a "fault in the windshield at the top of the passenger side. This is normally difficult to see unless the light is just right, but when the light is just right its a pretty big area. Plus another similar spot up and to the left. Looks like is is embedded in the glass. NOT on either the inner or outer surface.

Could be a manufacturing defect. Time for a service center visit…

Yes manufacturing fault. Looks like a clear spot in the center with the rest scraped with steel wool!! But both outer surfaces show no defects, nothing. It is internal in the windshield. Just don't want to do the two hour each way drive to the SC with the possibility of leaving the car there. BUT.... whatever

finally got the windshield replaced. fortunately was a beautiful drive to Rochester (2 hr each way). It was a manufacturing fault in the windshield.
