Maybe Chill mode is only available on refresh cars and not Classics?
I have '14 S85 (rear wheel drive classic) with 17.42 and do not have Chill mode.

I believe chill mode was introduced in 17.44 and if so, that is most likely the reason you do not have it on 17.42.I have '14 S85 (rear wheel drive classic) with 17.42 and do not have Chill mode.
My MS 60 doesn’t have it....Does "Chill" only come on certain cars? Don't seem to see it on my "classic" 85 (RWD).
And no, not only dual-motor cars either...no, not only refresh cars...
The car can still control acceleration rate through standard cruise control, and changes power output on launches based on traction control inputs. My point is that the capability is there for chill mode to be implemented, but if there's something that was updated on AP1 cars that is needed for chill mode to work (like the updated traction control module), please prove me wrongAnd no, not only dual-motor cars either...
I have Chill on my RWD P85 with AP1. This leads me to think that AP hardware is the prerequisite, which makes sense if you think about TACC, another feature where the car is able to control the acceleration rate.
Good point. It's not clear where the capability cutoff would be, just observing that Chill is apparently present on cars with AP hardware and not (currently) present on earlier cars without AP hardware. Maybe the mothership will eventually clarify the requirements. The car can still control acceleration rate through standard cruise control, and changes power output on launches based on traction control inputs. Apparently you need auto pilot for chill mode for some reason.Have 17.50 on my '14 S85 and no Chill

I assume you do not have it?
This thread has a lot of talk about it.
P85 can't CHILL?
Chill is like starting in second gear. Also it feels like the accelerator pedal in my wife’s Prius.Even elderly drivers like responsive cars. I also don't like the new regen profile (fails until speed so low, it does no good).
