Model Y and AP rumors

Model Y sales will go through the roof. However, there's no way base cost will be even in the hemisphere of $35k-$40k. MCU may be updated but level 4 autonomous at launch is next to impossible when there are still issues with level 2. Just wondering with the SUV craze and the slow death of the car, how much it cannibalize the sales of the Model 3.

Remember, the SUV craze you speak of is purely an American phenomenon. The rest of the world is still very much a small car/sedan type of market. I think when the Model 3 hits the global market its appeal will be tremendous.
