Erm... Your signature says 2017.12. My 2017.7 100D never shows 400 on an average, and the 75D should be notably lighter and more efficient. I second the previous responder's question. All I can figure is you are in a city where you spend a lot of time stopped in traffic while heating/cooling drives up your average or you spend all your time on the highway going 80+ MPH. Those would be valid explanations, but "it's older" doesn't quite explain it being that high all by itself.
I think that's below the 80% battery degradation tat is covered by warranty. That would be covered under the 8 year warranty unless you have a ton of miles. Time to ask Tesla.
Sacramento area, picked up last June, only 4700 miles so far, energy usage was higher during summer due to AC. I mostly drive around the town and that's why energy usage is low.
Lifetime average on our 2021 LR+ X is 308 wh/mile after this winter and circa 34,000 miles (delivered December 2020).
Dashboard "rated range" is currently 349 miles. The highest it ever showed was 374 miles at 100% at around 7000 miles, and it's been pretty steady as far as deg since about 20,000 miles. Will report back at the half-century mark, or when it's traded in, whichever comes sooner...
The desert bloom is supposed to be good this coming week and the week following. Best in 2 decades due to the extra winter moisture. Hope you get to see some of it.
