Didn't the 7 seat originally have mono-posts? So it would depend on the date of manufacture.

Fold-down benchs in 5 & 7. I used to have a 6 seater but for bikes and skiing and dog, 5 is great, bench folded down 80% of time.
Correct. Early 7seat configurations had 3 monopost supports, that did not fold flat. Changed to a bench sometime in 2017, similar to the 5 seat. One difference is the second row in the 5 seat is fixed, cannot be moved. The 7 seat bench can be moved fore/aft some amount. I cannot find any published difference in headroom between the current 5 and 7.
