I haven't seen any posts about two kayaks, so here's my experience. I used the Whispbars and Yakima Jaylow carriers to carry two Tandem Perception Prescsdors.
The good: Super easy to load these 65lb kayaks with just my wife and I due to the low height compared to an SUV; the trunk and trunk are fully usable with kayaks; the paddles fit easily in the back seat or trunk; minimal range impact below 40 mph
The bad: massive impact to range above 40 mph. At 70 mph, wh/mi increase from around 260 to 480. Range drops from 245 to closer to 160. It appears to run at a 170% whattsge usage at 70 mph and 150% wh/mi usage at 60 mph. I was charged up to 225 miles for a 160mi trip and arrived with literally 5 miles left after slowing down to 45 mph and taking a side road off the interstate for the last 45 miles. At least the car continually warned me to drive slower (first 65moh, then 60, 55, 50, 45).
