Model S Transaction Help Needed

Currently trying to figure out the transaction process with a private seller. Could use some help:

Seller is currently under a lease of $1k per month with 10 months left and end of lease payoff of $50k through US Bank

Buyer has agreed to buy the car, not take over the lease.

Right now, there's confusion on who the buyer writes the check to and what forms to fill out. This is all in California.

Any help would be great. Thank you in advance.

Write the check to US Bank, they have the title. Ask them to overnight you the new title if there is no lien holder.

I agree. You need to call your bank and they will talk you through it.
