Ahh, I didn't think of the CO2-part of the equation, but still as you mention the price will increase a lot then mainly due to weight and horsepower. My wife would kill me if I bought a car at twice the cost of a Model S, but she has been very happy about the price so far.
Regarding M5s in Norway there aren't many of them, but here in Oslo I've seen quite a few over the years. People with that kind of money tend to buy porsches, ferraris etc instead. M5s don't have enough show-off factor I believe
