Vger, I agree with most of what you said but on the quote, how about just saying 'Hello CAD Sig reservations holders, just to let you know that your cars are ready but we are just waiting on some final TC paperwork'. Would have been nice!

And make sure you don't use the acronym so people don't have to reply with "what paperwork is there on the traction control?"

TM isn't just going to show up at people's houses with a car and then ask for a draft for $100K. I would expect that once the cars are ready to ship they will notify people and from that point there will be a one to two week window.

I got the same call. What do you mean by Taking your new plates over this week? When I asked they said they believed that Tesla would be getting the plates (at least for Ontario). For Quebec no confirmation yet on how it was going to work.

Did you have the option for store pickup? I went through everything quickly because I was so excited, but I remember it mentioning the possibility but when I entered my postal code there was only a home delivery option.

Yes I did, although I asked them to phone me to confirm it wouldn't delay things.
I'd pick it up if it would save time! It said the service center by the way. That's only about 30 minutes from me.

My page didn't show a store pickup option (actually service center) but I called and told them that's what I want to do.

I guess they figured I was too far away. But I've done the Toronto trip a bunch of times in my Roadster; will only be easier with the Model S.

Delivery button showed up on my Tesla profile as well. Filled it out and was given an estimated delivery window of Dec 15 - 31st. Called my electrician to make sure he is able to make it ASAP!

Drove by the service center today on the way home and didn't see any trucks full of cars though.

Is that where they'll drop the cars? I'm only a couple of miles away, and will begin burning off vacation days (use 'em or lose 'em) starting Friday. Guess where I'll be snooping around in my spare time! :smile:

Any news on the winter tire package or the high power chargers?

No news on HPWC although had to confirm the address to ship it to on the site. Call the service centre to reserve your tires and wheels.

I called the number on the page because I had a question... I also asked about where the cars were at now. I got a kinda vague answer but my interpretation is that the cars haven't shipped out yet.
