Interesting that it does not support passive entry. That is one of my favorite features about our S. I often walk away from our other vehicles forgetting to lock them now.
$150 for a key fob for a car I just bought 30 days ago fr $60,000!!!! REALLY! I guess I can just keep trying my phone which only works about 25% of the time and only then if I turn the Bluetooth on and off while I am standing in the rain. Or I can use the cards which work fractionally better. C'mon Tesla (Elon) really are you that hard up for cash. Every car I have purchased in the last 20 years came with at least 2 fobs. My GMC truck came with three!!
Thanks for the information @OP! I was hoping the key fob would be free for existing owners but I won't plan to get one if it cost me money. I'm content with the keycard and phone key
Let me say that I love my phone-key and it works flawlessly for me. The price is one thing, but lack of passive entry makes this thing basically useless.
