Wasn't that the change from 3.2s to 3.1s which was released a while back?
I suppose, but that doesn't seem to live up to the promise of what Tesla said. Today's update does, but is not an OTA update. I'll stop stirring the pot...
Anyone else surprised that additional RWD models were added (many speculated the RWD 85 would be eliminated)? I guess that helps with the entry price point.
This TechCrunch article claims that the change is a fuse which will be available as an upgrade for existing P85D owners. I've not seen either claim elsewhere, but if its true I'll sign up as soon as they'll let me.
I just think they have taken the "halo car" concept much further then any other manufacturer. (especially in the frequency of updates)It's a halo car even if you don't own it. It's always nice to know the car that can beat you is not coming from another brand. Sorry Panamera, AMG, M and RS guys.
According to Musks Blog post the combined output of the two motors in ludicrous mode is now 762hp :scared:
How many P85D owners are now kicking themselves in the butt, and are upgrading to the P90D now?
Maybe I am wrong but I think Tesla really did right by P85D owners offering the $10,000 upgrade option for only $5,000. That's giving your existing customers preference over new ones, something that's rarely done these days. It's **** like this that I'm glad I only lease and not buy... Tesla releases new model changes like ever 6 months
