As far as I know, there have been no Las Vegas deliveries yet. (The Las Vegas service center actually opens in a new location tomorrow. Hopefully, that'll help.)

I thought I'd start a thread so LV residents can keep each other up to date. So far, my experience has been quite poor.

3/3/16 - Reserved online as current owner
1/18/18 - Received the email to configure. I did so right away.
2/5/18 - Having heard nothing and received no VIN, I sent an email to the Las Vegas center. There was the usual kind response, though I was sad to hear that they have my order as being placed 1/29. I sent them the order confirmation email from Jan 18. Regardless, she mentioned the end of February.
2/22/18 - Still having heard nothing, I called today. The sales rep had no idea about any of the process. He mentioned he's in training. That's fine. Feel free to look into it and get back.
2/22/18 - Email from a delivery specialist "Congrats on getting an email to configure your car...." I responded that the info is incorrect and that I ordered 5 weeks ago. I'm just hoping for an update on VIN, delivery time.
2/22/18 - Ready for this? "currently a wait time for 12-18 months for Model 3 once an order is placed. Five weeks is much too soon in the process to think about a VIN."
2/22/18 - I can't believe I have to sit here and explain how this process works to the Tesla employees

Anyway, that's where I am currently. If there are other Las Vegas residents willing to share, I'd love to hear how it's going.

Yikes... with LV being the closest delivery center to me at 2 hours away, it looks like fun times await. I am in a neighboring state, so I wonder if Salt Lake will be taking care of it (not expecting local delivery but am willing to be pleasantly surprised, so picking up in LV is more convenient than Salt Lake).

I received a call yesterday evening with more info. First, he apologized for the misinformed messages earlier. He also mentioned that he was going to look into it for me. Part of the reason is that Las Vegas is opening up a brand new service center. (Today is the grand opening.) They were pushing Model 3 deliveries in LV until the new center was open so they could better be handled. He now has VINs coming through for other local customers and he's hoping I'll be soon. I should get a call today.

On a happier note, here is the new service center in Las Vegas:

Now that is an impressive looking SC. Now if they can just have the matching top tier service for you.
Good luck with your pending delivery.

Update: VIN assigned today. Sounds like the car may be in transport as well.
What is your config? I am in vegas as well, configured 2/14. I was hoping the new service center wasn't the hold up, and I went into the old one on Jones and they said they have been delivering there before the switch, but seems the switch has caused a delay. I guess I should assume my 30 loan approval is going to need to get reapplied for before I ever get a VIN.

We visited the new LV center on Saturday while in town. Looked very nice. There wasn't a Model 3 on display, but there is a large window from the showroom area viewing into the service center. My wife swears an employee drove in a Model 3, it went towards the right to an area or room that you can't see, which might be the delivery center. I didn't see it, and at a passing glance sometimes the Model S and Model 3 look similar - but hopefully it was indeed a Model 3 for a lucky soon-to-be LV owner.

Today my sister was notified by her Nevada delivery specialist that her Model 3 was on a truck inbound to Vegas, delivery next week.

They (she and her husband) are Model S owners and stood in line first day.

I wonder how many others total are getting notified?

Im happy to see some other Las Vegas folks chiming in. My midnight silver should be arriving late next week according to my helpful rep.

Coincidentally, I’m in Atlanta today and they had my exact build on display. It was nice to see one in person. Lots of improvements over my P85D. (And some things I’ll surely miss, no doubt.)

ok so you were 16 days ahead of me configuring, so I'll just be hopeful that I get vin by 14th of March. My loan only good until the 21st, really pushing it and no contact from Tesla since configuring.
