That one – or another one just like it – was donated by Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. Or it – or another one just like it – was donated by a some other sort of organization...

The Italian Polizia did not pay for them (and I'm guessing they never paid full price for the maintenance, and possible repairs, either)...
